Overview
Setaman is an online plant rental service to make it easier for shop owners and customers to rent plants. This application aims to make it easier for shop owners to promote and manage plant rentals online so that shop owners can receive more orders and save money and time in conducting promotions. In addition, this application also helps customers in finding rental needs and monitoring maintenance easily from anywhere and anytime.
Problem
Shop Owner
Since the pandemic, it has been difficult for shop owners to bring their customers back. The reason for this is because in the business process they still use conventional media, starting from communication media, disseminating product information, and also setting maintenance schedules. In conducting promotions, the majority of shop owners still use banners, spread brochures, and word of mouth.
Customer (Tenant)
Customers have difficulty in finding plant rental information Customers do not find online platforms/marketplaces that provide plant rental features Limited information on the products they want to rent (the rental shop does not provide a catalog)

Style Guide
Color
The primary color is taken from the moodboard and the color that represents the plant rental application is olive.
In the application of the design system itself for color, it has adapted Figma's new feature, namely variables by applying the rules of design tokens.
Typography
The font selection for typography was inspired by the pawnshop design which uses Nunito Sans as the primary font. This decision was taken because the majority of target users are the same as pawnshops, which have a vulnerable age of parents.

Create a product catalog feature that can manage products in an organized manner so that customers can easily capture product information.

Chat features that are made familiar with existing marketplaces can make it easier for customers to communicate without switching to another application
How to get a regular/organized treatment schedule?
Maintenance Schedule feature where shop owners can send proof of maintenance and know the maintenance schedule, while customers can see plant maintenance without having to come directly to see the plant.
UX Research
After conducting research as a solo researcher, researching a topic that has never been done before/is less common is a challenge in itself considering the sample of respondents who have an age range of 40-60 (shop owners).
UI Design
Implementing the new feature presented by Figma, namely variables, makes designing more consistent and faster, but the configuration is quite time-consuming to learn considering this feature when the project was just released. In addition, combining the variable feature with design tokens can make a design system more consistent and organized.
